Winter Fluff

Faux fur coats are everywhere, last year we had a taste of this trend but now I can assure you that it’s going to last.

Buying a statement coat it’s usually hard decision to make, that’s why I’ve created six look ideas using them in order to show you how amazing and cool you can look by choosing my favorite ones.

Don’t be afraid of over-wear these coats and make them you statement pieces for the season.

This winter is all about the fluff!

This classic brown faux fur coat is a must have, and my personal favorite, ever since I saw it on the & Other Stories window I felt madly in love with it, I would definitely wear this coat on a daily basis, that’s the reason I combined it with basic jeans and a burgundy sweater, the accessories are a mix of tomboy shoes and a cross body party bag.

This sheep coat is perfect for every occasion, I love how versatile it is, I’ve created a more classic look for this coat because classic is never out of style; army green is one of my favorite colors for winter, I combined the monochromatic top and bottoms with creamy accessories, even though the coat, bag and shoes are the same color I played with the different textures of each piece to give this look a punch; mixing animal inspired textures is perfect for monochromatic looks.

Orange is the new black, at least when I’m talking about this gorgeous orange furry coat, I could wear it all year long if I could… This look represents me because I combined it with a t-shirt and ankle boots, but I added a trend twits (I’m not that trendy) by adding a pair of cat eyeshades and ripped flared jeans.

Colored fur coats might seam the hardest to wear but if you give it a try you might end up having so much fun, I like to call it the Big Bird coat, it reminds me of this yellow character of Sesame Street lol, just look how amazing it is! So stylish! It’s obvious we saw this kind of coats on the runway and now you can find it at Zara; for this look I got inspired by a night in the city with friends, a pair of leather pants, vinyl ankle boots and a deconstructed shirt, the second punch: a purple velvet Mammoth Gucci bag.

Back to basics, as seen on the runway the latest fur trend is inspired by classic natural colored fur, like our grandmas use to wear when they where young; but now we can find gorgeous faux fur versions of those classic coats and look extremely chic with them; in order to highlight the beauty of this coat I decided to create a monochromatic camel look and make a contrast with a green purse.

Red is definitely the color of the season; Givenchy launched a complete red collection honoring Riccardo Tisci leaving the brand, by composing 27 looks created by Riccardo, all red and all amazing. Off course brands like Zara and H&M launched its own versions of this powerful color; I found this fur coat and I had to use it, I just love it, I combined it with a Victorian white shirt and blue accessories, I like to contrast red with daring colors, I also like how it looks with purple or pink.
