Gingham Shorts

Two weeks ago I went on summer vacations with my husbands family.

Bucerías is located in Banderas Bay, one of the biggest bays in México where Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta and Punta Mita among other amazing places are located.

I had been to Vallarta and Punta Mita before but I have to say that Bucerías is a must (if you’re ever in Vallarta).

Bucerías is a small town with a few resorts and restaurants, the façades around are colorful and beautiful, you can also find some alleys with incredible painted murals, it reminded me (a little) to Abbot Kinney Boulevard.

After a few days I discovered this mural in what it seamed to be an abandoned house right by where we were staying, I had to take pictures for a post here.

One afternoon my sister in law joined me and took this pictures form me.

When I did my suitcase I planned a few outfits for pictures but only if I had the time to take them, sometimes it’s more important to live the moment and enjoy life than sharing it.

I was lucky! I did both and had a blast.

This look is totally my style, one of my favorite patterns ever is gingham, it looks so chic and timeless, and these shorts are perfect for the summer or even the winter with a pair of black tight or in between season with fishnets.

I wore this shorts with a cropped black top and a pair of espadrille loafers with raffia details, these ones are perfect for dinner, the beach or even the city, I bought them really thinking about how many time I would wear them; I like summer clothing but for me it’s really hard to buy it since I’m not a summer person, I’m more into coats and boots, this pair of espadrilles turned out to be perfect for me, I have already worn them several times.

For final details I added a panama hat from Zingara, I never leave home without a hat, I can’t tan because my skin is to light and I have Vitiligo (if you ever have any questions about it don’t hesitate on asking me) I use sunscreen every day even during the winter, 365 days a year.

I´m glad I had the time to do these pictures, I promise I will try to do this more often so you can have different sceneries of my looks and of course a small review of the place a visited.

I hope you like it!
