You may wonder why I kinda abandoned my blog, I was very busy planning my wedding and of course after the big event I went on my honeymoon but now I’m back and exited to write and post cool outfits.
When my dad told me we where going to a family reunion at my uncles country house I got so exited to finally have a reason to wear a hat.
I love my hat collection (can I call it a collection if a have ten hats?) but I almost never use them, I’m not a huge fan of the idea of “indoor-hats” so you can imagine my excitement about this family gathering.
The first piece I choose for this look was this hat; a hat a very good friend of mine gave me on my birthday this January.
A few days early my adorable sister found this gorgeous scarf at H&M, I loved the color palette, burgundy with a twist of gold, dark blue and white, I couldn’t resist asker if I cloud buy the same one, obviously she answered yes; usually I would have borrowed hers but since I was getting married a few weeks latter I had to buy one for me.
There are many ways to wear a scarf, one of my favorites is to build a triangle, put it around my back and use a belt to hold it around my waist creating a kind of wrapping.
Last but not least my beloved Louis Vuitton “Speedy” a purse that is not just an icon in fashion it marked my life, my dad gave my mom a “Speedy” 30 years ago and a few years ago my mom gave it to me, it still looks amazing but I decided to buy a brand new one for me, maybe to give away to my daughter in 30 years…
I love this classic look with a modern twist, I hope you like it.
Se preguntarán por qué medio abandoné mi blog, estaba más ocupada que nunca planeando mi boda y por supuesto después del gran evento me fui de luna de miel, pero estoy de regreso muy emocionada de compartir nuevas entradas y looks.
Cuando mi papá me dijo que teníamos una comida familiar en el rancho de mi tío me emocioné muchísimo ya que por fin tenía una razón para usar sombrero.
Amo mi colección de sombreros (¿Puedo llamarle colección si tengo diez?) pero casi nunca puedo usarlos, no son una gran fan de usar sombreros bajo techo entonces imaginarán mi emoción sobre está comida familiar.
La primera pieza que escogí para este look fue este sombrero, un sombrero que me regaló un muy buen amigo en mi cumpleaños este enero.
Unos días antes mi hermana se topó con esta mascada de H&M, me encantó la combinación de colores, burgundy con un toque de dorado, azul marino y blanco, no pude resistir preguntarle si podía comprarla yo también, en otra época simplemente hubiera usado la suya pero como mi boda era en un par de semana tuve que comprar una para mi.
Existen mil formas de usar mascadas, una de mis favoritas es crear un triangulo y usarlos sobre mis hombros y agregar cinturón en la cintura creando una especie de envoltura.
Por ultimo… mi querida Louis Vuitton “Speedy” una bolsa que no solo es un icono en la moda, también marcó mi vida, mi papá le dio una bolsa igual a mi mama hace 30 años la cual mi mamá me regaló a mi hace un para de años, sigue luciendo espectacular pero hace poco decidí comprarme una nueva, quizás para regalársela a mi hija en 30 años…
Amo este look clásico con un giro moderno, espero les guste a ustedes también.
