I took the long weekend as an excuse to wear this Kimono, I bought it last year in Forever 21 and is still in style but sadly with type of clothing is better to wear them as much as we can before the go out of style.
Morelos has a friendly weather; it’s perfect to take out your summer clothes even do its still winter.
When I go to the pool I like to look nice, when I say “look nice” I don’t mean “wear high heels” it’s ridiculous to wear heels on a pool (unless you’re in a cocktail party) I mean to wear confortable and appropriate clothes for the get into and the get out process.
The spring is around the corner and the pool season too, that’s why I recommend to wear Kimonos to cover-up, the process of getting into the poo is really uncomfortable, at least for me, I feel vulnerable and almost naked; Kimonos cover just enough in a flattering way and they also work as robes, this way you’ll feel confortable and all looks will go to this garment.
Say NO to cover-up with towels, it’s only acceptable when you get out of the pool; a towel is not a piece of clothing.
If you’re not going to swim and you want to fee fresh you can also wear it with a pair of shorts and a light shirt under it.
To give your winter a Boho turn you can always add a Kimono, change the shorts for a pair of jeans, a light shirt for a sweater and the sandals for a pair of ankle booties, It’ll look great too, actually this type of look is one of Florence Welch’s trademarks (one of my favorite singers) of course besides her gorgeous red hair.
Durante el Puente aproveché para usar este Kimono, lo compre hace un año en Forever 21 y siguen en tendencia pero con este tipo de prendas es mejor sacarles mucho jugo antes de que pasen de moda.
Morelos tiene un clima muy amigable, es perfecto para usar prendas de verano aunque aun sea invierno.
Cuando voy a la alberca me gusta lucir bien, lucir bien no significa usar tacones, es ridículo usar tacones en una alberca (a menos que sea una fiesta o un coctel) me refiero a usar ropa apropiada y cómoda para el proceso de entrar a la alberca y salir de ella.
La primavera se acerca y la temporada de albercas también por ello recomiendo usen los Kimonos para cubrir el traje de baño, para mi el proceso de entrar a la alberca es vergonzoso, me siento vulnerable y literal con poca ropa, un kimono cubre lo necesario y sirve de bata para entrar y salir de la alberca, de esta forma te sentirás cómoda y las miradas se concentrarán en esta prenda.
Díganle NO a cubrirse con toallas, solo es aceptable al salir de la alberca, no es una prenda.
Sí no van a nadar pueden usarlo también con una blusa ligera y unos shorts debajo.
Para usar Kimonos en invierno pueden combinarlos con una blusa de manga larga o un suéter y complementarlos con un par de jeans y unos botines, luce increíble también, de hecho es uno de los sellos de identidad de Florence Welch (una de mis cantantes favoritas) por supuesto además de su increíble pelo rojo.
