A few years ago I went on vacations to Taos, New Mexico.
The Pueblo of Taos is known for its particular architecture and its cultural wealth.
On the tour around the town I found a great variety of stores were they sold Native American inspired sweaters, scarves and carpets, I felt for many pieces of clothing, but since they are made by artisans and they are unique pieces, the price range is really high.
Sadly I couldn`t afford this gorgeous pieces but the urge of owning a Native American inspired clothing remained.
A few months later I found on H&M this scarf which I could not resist buying.
I must admit that because or the size of this scarf it’s hard for me to wear it, but the other day I came across a BuzzFeed list about alternatives of how to wear differently your clothes and one of the tips was how to use a maxi scarf as a sweater.
It is really simple you just have to fold the maxi scarf around your shoulders and a belt.
The result is really flattering and gives to the scarf a 180 degrees turn.
I`m sure I’ll go back to the amazing Pueblo of Taos and I will buy those artisanal sweater that felt for.
My Recommendation:
Make sure the belt that you wear with your maxi scarf combines to look stylish.
You can add a hat to give to your look an American touch.
Take advantage of the cold weather to use this alternative.

Hace un para de años fui de vacaciones Taos, Nuevo México.
El Pueblo de Taos es conocido por su particular arquitectura y por su riqueza cultural.
En uno de los recorridos por el pueblo me encontré con una amplia variedad de tiendas donde vendían suéteres, bufandas, tapetes con tejidos con inspiración Indio Americana, me enamoré de varias prendas, pero ya que son piezas únicas y tienen un trabajo artesanal el precio era muy alto.
Lamentablemente no pude comprar estas hermosas prendas pero las ganas de encontrar una prenda con estos motivos americanos permaneció.
Unos meses después en H&M me encontré con este “zarape” el cual no pude resistir comprar.
Debo admitir que por el gran tamaño de este zarape me cuesta trabajo usarlo, pero ese día me topé con una lista de BuzzFeed donde daban tips de alternativas de cómo usar ciertas prendas y una de ellas era como usas una maxi bufanda como suéter.
Es muy simple, tan solo se requiere un cinturón y cubrir los hombros con la maxi bufanda.
El resultado es muy favorecedor y le da un giro de 180 grados a esta pieza.
Estoy segura que algún día volveré a hermoso pueblo de Taos y compraré esos suéteres artesanales de los que me enamoré.
Mi Recomendación:
El cinturón que utilicen para acompañar la maxi bufanda debe combinar con la prendas que llevan para que luzca con estilo.
Pueden agregar un sombrero para darle un toque Americano a su look.
Aprovechen que el frio continua para usar esta alternativa.
