One of my favorite colors is olive it’s a cool shade of green that goes well with everything; I would even call it a basic for the fall.

I had a dinner party with my cousins and since the fall has officially arrived I decided to use my olive booties.

I got my ankle booties in January, they are confortable and they add style to a relaxed look, since this dinner was in the middle of the week I decided to wear my booties with my boot cut ripped jeans.

I wanted the olive color to be the star in my look so I added an olive pashmina, it matched perfectly with my booties, sometimes I like for a color to be dominant in my outfit, not to steal attention to my olive accessories I wore a loose plain white shirt and a black purse.

When I use this color I like to think of it as if it was actual olive oil, when you add olive oil to a dish it goes along perfectly with every flavor and it enhances it.

My Recommendation: When you are having a dinner party even if it’s just with your family, remember to always make an effort to look good, usually people associate the effort you put in your outfit with the importance you give to the event that’s why is important to always look great so that they know you care about them.

The olive color (or military green) is a major hit for this season.

Remember we are in the transition of summer to fall; don’t forget just yet about your summer clothes, you can always combine a nice skirt with a pair of booties without wearing tights or a nice light sweater with flats.
