Pajamas are the best, they are confortable, you can find them in a great variety of fabrics and they can make you feel at home even if you are across the seas.
When I saw that the top fashion brands filled their runways with pajama pants and shirts I was thrilled, pajamas are so cool, especially the silk ones, the patterns are amazing and easy to combine.
Pajamas are now so trendy that they have been omnipresent in the spring-summer collections all over the world, even the accessible brands like Zara and H&M launched a great variety of pajamas.
Summer in Mexico City can be tricky, you never know what you are going to get, I’m used to always bring a jacket because in a matter of seconds the sky can pour down and right afterwards the sun can melt you down so underneath I always wear a light blouse, weather has become a game, at least for me.
I like to take advantage of the crazy hot days, and the best way to rock them out is to wear pajama pants, they are fresh, and confortable. I’m not a fan of warm weather, specially when I’m stuck in traffic, Mexico City is enormous and traffic jams have become part of our everyday lives but when I’m wearing silky pajama pants I feel fresh and comfortable without worrying about the wrinkles on them.
One of the great benefits of pajama pants are that everyone can wear them, they fit all kinds of body shapes, they add great style to your look and you can combine them with heels, sandals, flats and even sneakers, my favorite way of wearing them is with comfy sandals, to add a hippy-chic vibe.
Pajamas have taken over my summer looks and my sister’s too, off course a nice top and a cool bag will always add style to your look.
Pajamas have added that je ne sais quoi to the summer.
My Recommendation: If you wear pajama pants with sneakers try to accessorize so it doesn’t look as you just woke up and wore the first thing you found, try new patterns and colors, play with them, combine your purse with one color and your shoes with another, a white shirt will always look perfect with every pattern and take care of your hair style as a bed-head doesn’t go that well with pajama pants!
